Call for Submissions
​Mark Makers' Quarterly, a print journal for and about rural California's art and artists, is looking for submissions for its next two issues. This quarterly magazine, based on the northern Sonoma and southern Mendocino coast, showcases artists and art from throughout California, and is available by subscription and select Northern California outlets. ​
​
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Using the submission button below, email up to six high-resolution images and a brief (400-words or less) statement about your work in the first person narrative, along with (optional) a photo of you in your studio.
Think about the following questions: Why do you do what you do? What compels you to create? How does your work fit the current issue's theme? Also include any online or social media presence you would like included with your submission.

Issue #9 Theme:
​
PORTRAITURE and the FIGURE: This issue will feature portraits of all kinds: humans and animals alike, as well as the human figure. All media are welcome.
​

Issue #10 Theme:
SKETCHBOOKS, BOOK-MAKING, and PRINTMAKING: This issue will feature sketchbooks of all kinds. What do you like to put in your sketchbook? Do you craft hand-made books? Are you a printmaker in any medium? I want to feature you!
